At a time when deep-fried, oil-soaked snacks ruled the market, a group of passionate youth from Wayanad, Kerala, dared to dream differently. In 2016, without any farming background, they formed Wayanad Organic Research Pvt. Ltd. with a single goal: to deliver healthy, natural snacks without compromising taste.

The result? Wayanadans – a brand that pioneered vacuum-fried chips in Kerala, made from jackfruit, carrot, beetroot, okra, and more. Unlike traditional frying, vacuum frying retains the natural color, nutrients, and flavor of fruits and vegetables, using significantly less oil.
